Gayatri Joshi is one of the legends in the industry of modeling. Gayatri was born on 20th march 1977 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. She belongs to a Marathi speaking family. Discussing about the educational career she has obtained schooling from the famous Mount Carmel School situated I Nagpur, later on her family got shifted in Mumbai, and her schooling was also shifted to JB Vachha High School located in Dadar. After schooling she switched over to pursue her graduation from the Sydenham College in Mumbai itself. When she was studying in college she modeled for different brands and performed different advertisements like, Ponds, LG, Sunsilk, Bombay Dyeing etc. she also performed with shahrukh Khan in the commercial advertisement of Hyundai. Later on she also pursued a degree from the same college in commerce.
In the year 1999 she took part in Femina Miss India contest and gained a position in the list of five finalists. Following the same year she also represented India in Japan by being the Miss International beauty pageant. After a huge success she was also found featuring different calendars and catalogues in the year of 2001.
She also played some significant role in two of the music videos that is ‘Jhanjaria’ of Hansraj Hans and ‘Sagar ki Kashti’ of Jagjit Singh. Coming to the Bollywood industry she made her debut on the screen by playing role in the movie ‘Swades’. She played the role opposite to Shahrukh Khan.
Finally in the year 2005 she got engaged with the industrialist Vikas Oberoi and gave birth to a baby boy in the year 2006.
