Geeta Basra is an Indian actress who was born on 13th March, 1984 in Portsmouth in the southern coast of England. She was born to Indian Punjabi parents and has a younger brother named Rahul. She now resides in Mumbai and has done her acting studies from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Acting School.
Geeta Basra has appeared in just two bollywood movies so far. The first was opposite to Emraan Hashmi in the movie ‘Dil Diya Hai’ which released in 2006. The next year she was seen again with Emraan Hashmi in the movie ‘Train’ released in 2007 where she played the role of a lady who develops an affair with Emraan Hashmi who is already married. Her role in the movie was negative as she was a part of the gang engaged in blackmailing people for money by the same plot. Geeta has done music videos too. She can be spotted in Sukshinder Shinda and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s music video ‘Ghum Sum Ghum Sum’. There she was the lady love of the male lead.
Geeta Basra is reported to be having a relationship with the Indian Cricket Team Spinner Harbhajan Singh. She denies this relation anyway but was seen with ‘Bhajji’ even after they parted ways.
