Giselli Monteiro was born on 16th November 1988 in Brazil. She was a Brazilian model before she her debut as a Bollywood actress. This Brazilian beauty started her modeling career at the age of seventeen. Since then she has travelled all around the world and finally ended up here in our very own India.
Giselli Monteiro with her unorthodox Brazilian look has featured on the covers of famous magazines such as ELLE, Femina, Marie Claire and Harpers Bazaar. She has walked up the ramp for some of the biggest name in Indian fashion industry, like that of Ritu Kumar and Rohit Bal. She even is the brand ambassador of Movil Mobiles, PC Jewelers and Wills Lifestyle in India.
Giselli made hey Bollywood debut in the year 2009 with the superhit movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ opposite Saif Ali Khan. She portrayed the character of a Punjabi girl in that movie which was totally opposite her personality. At the first look it was hard to believe that she’s not a Punjabi and she actually is a Brazilian. All credit goes to her and her director Imitiaz Ali.
Giselli Monteiro was next seen in the movie ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ which released in the year 2011. This movie was produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chilies Entertainment. She played the role of a school going girl in this movie and looked drop dead gorgeous.
One of her latest achievements is that, she now is the face of the brand Westside, chain of fashion retail stores.
