Gul Panag is not only an actress and a very much noted face in the glamour world but also a very well maintained private individual. She was quite a good student and did her graduation in Mathematics and Political Science. Her father being in the army, she had a very disciplined upbringing and lived in many places and changed her schools 14 times.
Probably this is what let her develop a very good and strong perspective on life. And this helped her in developing her public speaking skills and helped her become winner of gold medals at the Annual National Inter University Debate.
Her acting career started with her winning the Miss India Pageant in the year 1999, along with Miss Beautiful Smile. It is a huge thing for any girl who has just ventured into the industry. And it is obvious, that after that there was no looking back. Her first film in the Hindi film industry was Dhoop in 2003. She then did a film called Jurm in 2005 and a Television series by the name of Kashmeer. However it was Nagesh Kuknoor’s Dor in the year 2006, which can be regarded as the most important and rewarding film in her career. She played the role of a wife trying to save her husband from being hanged till death. The role of this anxious, yet strong woman was played with perfect charm by Gul Panag. It was one of the finest pieces of works by her.
