Kim Sharma is a model and an actress in the Bollywood film industry. The actress was born to a Indian father and Japanese mother in Ahmednagar. During her early days of schooling Kim attended the St. Joseph’s Convent in Panchgani but to pursue her college she returned to the place where she belongs, Ahmednagar. It came as a shock according to her as she was accustomed to the convent boarding where many students were from abroad and the scene out in Ahmednagar was totally different. So when she was in her Twelfth standard, she decided to discontinue with her studies. Due to her fame and a known face, she received many modeling offers and fashion shows.
Once in Mumbai, Kim gave an audition for the Toothpaste brand Close – Up and bagged the opportunity to act in it. After that she started appearing in many television commercials for big brands from shampoos to cars and many more. She appeared in commercials of Clean-n-clear, Liril, Ponds, Sunsilk and Tata Safari. She has been related to the cosmetic brands big time. She is even the brand ambassador of a leading cosmetic brand Olay in India.
t was first Aditya Chopra who noticed Kim Sharma and signed her for his next directorial venture which was a multi-starrer titled Mohabbatein. This movie also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwariya Rai in the leads. The most interesting fact about the movie was that it launched five more debutants Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill, Jugal Hansraj, Preetio Jhangiani and Shamita Shetty. This big hit marked a great start for Kim Sharma’s career.
