Nauheed Chaurasi is an Indian actress, model and VJ. Nauheed was born on 19th October, 1982 in a Parsee family in Mumbai. Her schooling was in J.B. Vacha School and she went to Jai Hind College and Basant Singh institite of Science in Mubai for her bachelors and master degrees. The model dreamt of becoming an air hostess and changed her mind to becoming an actor after three years of modelling.
Nauheed’s first appearance on screen was in a television advertisement for Dhara Refined Oil when she was in school at the age of 14. Nauheed then reappeared in many television advertisements of leading products like Head and Shoulders, Everyuth beauty product, etc. The music video filmed on Nauheed, Piya Basanti, was very famous and that drew the attention of the producers to her.
Her debut performance was in the movie ‘Supari’, which had Uday Chopra and Rahul Dev in its leading male roles. The film flopped but Nauheed was chosen by Vikram Bhatt for his film ‘Inteha’. For her first movie ‘Supari’ she was recommended to the director by Purab Kohli who worked with her in a Zee TV show ‘Hip Hip Hooray’. She has also ventured Telegu film ‘Sakhiya’. She along with ‘Koel Purie’ appeared in the Allen Solly Fashion Show.
One of the famous movie Nauheed Cyrusi worked in is ‘Anwar’ which suffered some controversies but became famous among the people. She was one of the contestant of the famous TV Reality Show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi – Level 2′. She was also seen in the Saif-Kareena starrer ‘Kurbaan’ in 2009.
