Neetu Chandra is an actress, a performer in the theatre and also a model in India. She was born on the 20th of June in the year 1984. She was born in the scenic city of Patna located in Bihar in India. While doing her schooling from the prestigious Notre Dame Academy in Patna, Neetu had secretly harbored the desire of becoming a top notch model. Her father who was a well to do businessman was hesitant to allow her to take up a career in modeling, but she always got the unwavering support of her mother Neera. From thereon she has made her appearance in plenty of advertisement campaigns and videos for lots of reputed companies, right from her college days n Delhi’s IP College, in the University of Delhi.
In fact before she made her entry in the film industry, she used to be an out and out sportsperson. Her achievements include receiving a Black Belt in the genre of Taekwondo. She has represented her country in international Taekwondo championships.
As far as the film industry is concerned, she had made her debut with the film Garam Masala where she had played the role of Sweety, who was an airhostess. After that she was seen in a Telugu film called Godavari in the year 2006 and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal in the year 2007. For this role she had actually spent one entire week on the streets of Mumbai under a traffic light. She also got featured on the cover of Indian Maxim in the January 2009 issue.
