Sarah-Jane Dias is an Oman born but Mumbai based actress who is also Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2007. She also used to be a channel V VJ. Sarah has made her latest appearance in the Abhishek Bachchan starrer movie ‘Game’.
Sarah-Jane was born in Muscat, Oman to father Eustace Dias who was a marketing manager and mother Yolanda Dias. In her childhood days Sarah went to Indian schools and spent her college life in Mumbai in Mithibai College and St. Andrews College, Bandra. At the age of 14 she won the Miss India Oman title Sponsored by the Times f Oman. Sarah was first recognised by Suresh Natrajan who on first seeing her put her on the campaign he was shooting. She first appeared as a guest on ‘On The Run’ a Channel V travel show and went on to become the host of Get Gorgeous supermodel hunt show of the channel. She appeared as a supporting actress in ‘Brides Wanted’ (2006). Dias also acted in Tamil movies with her debut in the Tamil romantic comedy ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’. The same film also casted bollywood stars Neetu Chandra and Tanushree Dutta. It was before release of this movie that she signed the latest bollywood movie ‘Game’ in a lead role.
Her upcoming film is with Telegu actor Pawan Kalyan. Sarah has also played along with Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in a leading advertisement. Sarah-Jane Dias is an upcoming and promising actress who is proving her caliber in both Bollywood and Tamil movies.
