Born on 3rd July, Sheena Chohan is the daughter of Harry Chohan and Late Kulwant Singh Chohan. She also has a brother named Sunny Chohan.
Sheena’s modeling career began in Kolkata, where she won a much coveted title of “Lakme Miss Kolkata”. She was later chosen by Sushmita Sen to contest in the “Miss India Universe- I am She”. She was the winner of the “I am voice” sub-contest, because of her impressive and effortless way of connecting with the audience. Sheena has done advertisements for reputed brands like Sony Bravia, MAC, Wella and Videocon.
Besides modeling, Sheena Chohan has also been actively involved in theatre and performing arts. She acted in many plays in her school and was also associated with Padatik School of Performing Arts. She did many other plays with eminent directors like Kunal Padhi (as Hermia in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Shyamanand Jalan (in ‘Adhe Adhure’). She then moved to Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group, and also did a play with Arvind Gaur in ‘Ek Mamooli Aadmi’.
Sheena then moved to Mumbai, where she did was spotted by National Award-winning South director Jayaraj in an ad commercial. He offered her to do a role in the 2010 Malayalam movie ‘The Train’ opposite superstar Mammootty, where her performance was much appreciated.
Sheena was also the face of the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League.
